One year ago, I was learning how to use my new smartphone before we left for a month long drive up the Pacific Coast from California through Oregon and Washington and across to Vancouver, BC. I loved the trip and loved blogging about 'the adventure' each day. This year, we are planning another trip to the East Coast to spend time in our nation's Capitol and then drive through the Shenandoah and Blue Ridge Mountains down to Great Smoky National Park before we loop back up to Baltimore and Annapolis, MD. To make the packing and luggage management easier, I bought a new 10" super-light tablet to use in place of the laptop. New technology leads to lots of other new things and new learning!!
Exploring the blog programs on the tablet was like starting all over as they are optimized for mobility first; functionality second. And so, I will be switching to a new blog. The new blog is called "Views on the journey" at viewsonthejourney.wordpress.com
Part of me feels like I am abandoning a part of myself; but I am trying to think of it as a "Fresh Start" :) Who knows where this journey will take me - but I plan to savor and enjoy each step along the way.
